Location: Bareges, French Pyrenees | Hello,
We are looking for a hard-working and motivated chalet couple, with previous hosting experience, to run our 6-bedroom (max. 14 guest) chalet in the Pyrenees. Our last chalet couple have stayed with us for 2 years and are now moving on.
We are based in the Bareges a Pyrenean National Park village at 1250m. The village is an excellent base for road biking, mountain biking, hiking, climbing Paragliding etc. in summer and home to the Grand Tourmalet resort in winter. We offer good rates of pay and a season ski pass is included with the job during the winter season. The Grand Tourmalet ski resort is the largest and highest resort in the French Pyrenees, it is also very well known for its Free-ride and off piste skiing/boarding including the vertical mile of off-piste down from the Pic du Midi du Bigorre (2877m), observatory which has been brought into the ski domain as an all off-piste mountain.We are the number one rated chalet in resort and have an excellent reputation for our catering which we would like to maintain.
The chalet has a big kitchen designed for group catering, and there is a spacious 1-bedroom staff apartment with private lounge and en-suite bathroom. The village of Bareges is a fairly quiet but friendly resort - great for people looking to practice their French, lovers of the outdoors, or someone just looking for a change from the bustle of the Alps.
