| | Group of 5 (my wife and me, plus 3 friends) have skiied a lot in the Tarentaise and Grand Massif so we'd prefer a new challenge. Looking for two weeks in late Jan arriving Sat 16 / Sun 17th, not sure if we will be driving or taking the train (flights are a maybe). We may have one or two late arrivals / early departures within those dates and group size MAY increase slightly.
We'd prefer to eat EARLY - like 6pm, then have an early night so sole occupancy mayber better, but could take rooms in a larger place if early meals are guaranteed
Prefer close to slopes (easy walk, rather than a bus).
Been looking at Haute Maurienne, Via Lattea, Alpe d'Huez, maybe Megeve, Les Contamines, La Clusaz, Portes du Mont Blanc

You can easily link to Megève and have access to Les Contamines providing snow sure skiing all season long!
You would need exclusive use (to eat early) the price for that would be £12,480 , enjoy a 12-day catered stay including:

We would love to welcome you to our Swiss chalet, La Bergère, this winter for one or two weeks from 16th January.
La Bergère is located in the beautiful Val d'Anniviers, a hidden gem in the Swiss Alps, 2 hours from Geneva Airport. There are 220 kilometres of quiet, snow sure slopes, mostly between 2000 and 3000 metres in altitude, set against a backdrop of iconic peaks. The valley is also part of the Magic Pass, which covers skiing across numerous resorts in Switzerland (perhaps of interest if you are looking at a 2 week trip!).
The chalet is situated in a traditional and picturesque village 10 minutes from the slopes of Grimentz-Zinal and St Luc-Chandolin, all covered by the same ski pass and a free ski bus stops 100 metres from the chalet.
The price for sole occupancy (should you wish to eat early) would be 7,000 CHF per week, which includes:

Vaujany is a very popular choice for groups of friends and families with young children due to its relaxed and safe environment and incredible value nursery. Vaujany is a very quaint village, with a modern lift system and brilliant facilities; swimming pool, spa, bowling alley, gym, ice skating, cinema etc
The journey from Grenoble takes 1 hour via car (taxi is €240). Lyon is 1.5 hours. Geneva is 2.5 hours. Bens Bus offers a shared transfer service, operating from Grenoble at €48.50 return and also Lyon.
