We have availability for the week from 17 January and could offer your group exclusive use of our family-run catered chalet in Châtel, France, in the Portes du Soleil.
The chalet sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite bedrooms, so it would work well for 3 couples wanting a private chalet stay.
Châtel gives access to the wider Portes du Soleil ski area, with skiing across the French and Swiss sides of the domain. The ski shuttle stop is around a 2-minute walk from the chalet, and the main Châtel lift access is only a few minutes away by shuttle.

On our website there's also a 360 degree tour – you can see all our bedrooms so there will be no surprises when you arrive!
Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have a hot-tub, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.
Chalet des Amis is next door to Au Coin du Feu so can be used as a private chalet or as an annex to the hotel. Located in Tignes Les Boisses at an altitude of 1,800 metres, Chalet Monte Bianco enjoys stunning views of Mont Blanc, the Rocher de Bellevarde and the return ski slope.
Set in a peaceful village, the chalet is just a short distance from the ski lifts. The return run ends directly at the ski room door, and the lifts are only a 200-metre walk away. When snow conditions allow, you can even put on your skis right outside the chalet.
Spacious and welcoming, the chalet comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Originally designed and operated as a guest house for seven years, it offers a high level of comfort and a particularly well-equipped semi-professional kitchen.
The chalet features:
• 5 bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom
• 1 guest toilet
• 1 laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer
• 1 ski room with boot dryers and toilet facilities

If you are looking for self-catered and are driving, we could be a great option for you!
I would highly recommend staying outside resort. We are a self catered chalet situated in a lovely peaceful location, but within 10-25 mins drive from 12 resorts within the Portes du Soleil. Ski a different resort every day. This would save you ££££! From experience, it can be easier to drive and park right outside the ski station, rather than walking through resort carrying equipment.
We are partnered with ski hire companies which offer great reductions and delivery to the chalet. We are also partnered with catering companies which can deliver to your door too!
Our chalet was completely renovated in March 2026, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions regarding the chalet or other areas within the Portes du Soleil.
