We’re looking for a New Year ski holiday for 12 people across three families and would love to hear from anyone with a suitable chalet.
Our group:
7 adults
5 children aged 15, 12, 12, 7 and 5
Three adult couples, ideally with their own rooms
What we’re looking for:
7 nights, arriving on or after 26 December 2026
Private chalet for exclusive use
High-altitude
Ski-in/ski-out, or very close to the piste
Private hot tub is a big priority
Catered preferred, but very happy with self-catered
Family-friendly with skiing for mixed abilities
Ideally within around 1 to 1.5 hours of Méribel
We’re particularly interested in Les Menuires/Reberty, Val Thorens, Les Arcs, La Plagne and Courchevel. We’d also consider Tignes or other high-altitude suggestions if the property is right.
Maximum budget is around £12,000 for the week.
We know New Year is peak season, so we’re flexible on the exact arrival date from 26 December onwards and happy to compromise on catering or exact resort for the right chalet.

How about Châtel? 90 minutes from Geneva with quick access to the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil as well as Avoriaz. Not to mention the great slopes in Châtel itself

We are in Samoens (skiing starts at 1600m) which forms part of the Grand Massif along with Flaine, les Carroz, Morillon & Sixt

The chalet is situated in town midway between the gondola and church square.
5 bedrooms with small en suite shower rooms and WC.
The whole 2nd floor is open plan, wooden beams with a central chimney dividing the dining area and lounge.

Private off road parking for 4 cars.

In house ski hire & one to one ski and boot fitting.
Its not delivered, we have a full room dedicated to ski rental.
TRANSFERS
Private transfers from Geneva if required.
The rate on a catered basis for your group would be £9000

We have a beautiful chalet in Les Arcs available for your the period from 26/12/26 until 02/01/27.
Catered Chalet la Grange d’Alice is a genuine 200 year-old ‘chalet d’alpage’ that has been carefully restored using old, locally sourced materials, it also boasts new fittings and modern facilities such as solar-powered under-floor heating. The chalet retains a real mountain atmosphere while also being comfortable and spacious.
We offering breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4-course diner. We start the day with a cooked breakfast, a different hot option every day. When you return from the slopes a freshly baked cake is ready for you. At night we provide a balanced four-course meal. A starter, main course, cheese and dessert. Wine, beer and sodas are included during diner (Diner is 6 times a week) We also have a sauna and a jacuzzi.
The chalet has a Ski-in Lift-out location with a blue and red slope to the chalet. The exactly ski region is Les Arcs - Paradiski and the chalet is located at the village Les Granges. Les Granges is the middle station of the Funicular train that brings you up to Arc 1600. The first ski lifts, restaurants and ski schools are at Arc 1600. The funicular is in the front of the chalet, just a 150m walk and it takes you up in 5 minutes.
