Vaujany is a very popular choice for groups of friends and families with young children due to its relaxed and safe environment and incredible value nursery. Vaujany is a very quaint village, with a modern lift system and brilliant facilities; swimming pool, spa, bowling alley, gym, ice skating, cinema etc
The journey from Grenoble takes 1 hour via car (taxi is €240). Lyon is 1.5 hours. Geneva is 2.5 hours. Bens Bus offers a shared transfer service, operating from Grenoble at €48.50 return and also Lyon.

I believe Le Chalet des Boisses could be a very good fit for what you are looking for, particularly for a longer summer stay.
We could offer you a four-week stay from 12 June to 10 July
The chalet has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, so you would have plenty of space even when all six guests are staying. It also has a washing machine, very good Wi-Fi, private parking and beautiful mountain views.
Its location is particularly convenient if you would prefer not to rely on the car. The chalet is located in Tignes 1800, within walking distance of local restaurants and amenities, and there are numerous walks and hiking trails accessible directly from the village.
Mid-June to early July is a particularly lovely time to be in Tignes. It is before the main summer school-holiday period, so the resort and surrounding mountains are generally much quieter. The days are long, the mountains are beautifully green, and it is an excellent time for hiking, walking and simply enjoying the scenery without the crowds of the peak summer weeks.
You would also have the advantage of having the chalet as a comfortable base for a full month, with plenty of space to work or relax and to welcome the other members of your party whenever they join you.
As you are considering an early four-week booking, we could offer you a total rental price of €4,500 for the entire chalet, excluding tourist tax and the refundable security deposit. This rate reflects a significant long-stay discount compared with booking the chalet by the week.

Our chalet in St Jean d'Aulps will accommodate you comfortably and we are used to having longer stays in the Summer. We are only 10 minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants in St Jean but have a nice quiet terrace and garden with hot tub.
From our doorstep there is excellent hiking, up to the Elephant Mountain in an hour for views over St Jean, Mont Blanc and the Morzine valley, or further afield the Pic de la Corne and all the surrounding peaks.
