I started my season career in Meribel and completed my second winter in Tignes having spent the summer season there. I have had a great deal of experience working with the public and my most recent work in the Alps has given me the opportunity to work in a higher role, to a higher standard, with people of all ages. Working as Resort Supervisor and chalet host allowed me to work with the team in resort alongside customers and other businesses to ensure each week ran smoothly. I was responsible for over-seeing the chalets and staff in resort, dealing with any customer queries, delivering lift passes, keeping up to date with customer reviews and accounts whilst also running my own chalet alongside my chalet partner. Working for Snowchateaux in the UK office gave me an insight into the day to day running of ski company, from the operational side, to the sales and marketing and recruitment processes.
Working as a resort representative in Meribel, I was responsible for customer service within resort, the smooth running of transfer weekends and ski pack sales. This required me not only to be extremely organised but also have the ability to communicate with customers and deal with any inquiries they had. I was also in control of ordering and distributing lift passes across eight chalets in Meribel alongside another representative. Following on from my Winter in Meribel I took on the role of bar supervisor in Summer 2014 in the Aigle Hotel in Tignes. Again I was responsible for stock taking, accounts, cleanliness and the general running of the hotel bar.
