Chalet Chef / Host to run a luxury ski chalet catering for 8 guests.
Passionate about Cooking? Passionate about the mountains, love skiing, love snowboarding? Want to spend a winter in the French Alps then this could be the job for you.
We are looking for a chalet chef (or a couple) who is passionate about food and can present dishes with flair and imagination.
The position involves;
• Meeting and greeting guests.
• Taking the guests to the local ski shop to hire equipment.
• Creating and serving a continental breakfast as well as a cooked hot option on six days, provide a home-made cake for afternoon tea, canapes before dinner followed by a three course meal.
• Daily cleaning of the chalet
• Drop the guests at the ski lifts each morning and pick them up at a pre-arranged time after skiing.
You need to be immaculately presented, be self motivated and hard working. In addition to this, you will be outgoing, confident, conscientious, reliable and highly organised. Ideally aged 25 and over, You must hold a full clean drivers licence and ideally have experience of driving a minibus or driving abroad.
We provide the following package;
Start Mid December - mid April
Competitive salary plus end of season bonus, Excellent tips
A full area Megeve ski pass with carte neige.
Food and board, double room in the chalet.
Ski or snowboard hire
1 full day off a week, plus plenty of time to ski on other days.
Travel to the resort and flight back to the UK at end of the ski season.
