I posted a day or so ago about our New Year ski search, but due to family commitments our plans have changed and we’ve now narrowed our search to the Morzine / Montriond / Avoriaz area.
We’re looking for a private chalet for 13 people across three families:
* 8 adults and 5 children
* 3 adult couples
* Minimum 5 bedrooms ideally, but we’re very flexible on room layouts and happy with bunk rooms
* Private hot tub is essential
* 7 nights from 26 December 2026 onwards
* Catered would be perfect, but self-catered is absolutely fine
* Good access to the higher skiing around Avoriaz, ideally via Prodains or Ardent
* Parking would be a big plus
* Ideally easy access to Morzine for bars, restaurants and activities
Budget is up to £13,000 for the week.
We know it’s peak New Year week, so we’re realistic and happy to compromise on catering, exact location and bedroom configuration.
We’re ready to book if we find the right place.
If anyone has a chalet, knows an owner, or can recommend somewhere that might fit the brief, I’d love to hear from you.

Chalet Cannelle is in Châtel which also has a fast connection into Avoriaz and Linderet (top of Ardent) as well as the quieter pistes of super Châtel and Switzerland.

If you haven't found exactly what you were looking for yet please take a look at Chalet Chery des Meuniers - our flagship chalet in Morzine that is now available for a few weeks of the season in between the dates of our popular solo traveller holidays.
Whilst we can't tick all of your boxes for you (no hot tub but a lovely sauna, and only available from Sunday 27th for a week) the chalet does benefit from plenty of open space, 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 17, plenty of parking, a location next to a bus stop half way between Morzine town and Prodain for easy access to skiing on both sides of the valley, and we would be easily within your budget for a self-catered stay. We can even add bakery deliveries or a full meal delivery service for your convenience and to give more time on the slopes rather than in the shops!

The chalets are fully catered, offering breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4-course diner. We start the day with a cooked breakfast, a different hot option every day. When you return from the slopes a freshly baked cake is ready for you. At night we provide a balanced four-course meal. A starter, main course, cheese and dessert. We use locally sourced products (also to support our local shops) from the best butcher, bakery and vegetable shops. Wine, beer and sodas are included during diner (Diner is 6 times a week, there is no dinner on Thursday) both chalets have a sauna and a jacuzzi or hot tub. The exactly ski region is Les Arcs - Paradiski. Chalet Le Rokh has a ski in ski out location right next to the Vallandry lift. La Grange has a ski in lift out location and is located at the middelstation of the Funiculair train.
