We have availability for New Year week and could offer your group exclusive use of our family-run catered chalet in Châtel, in the Portes du Soleil.
The chalet sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite bedrooms, so it would suit your group well for a private 60th birthday ski holiday. Châtel is also a practical option from Geneva, at around 90 minutes by road depending on conditions.
We are not ski-in/ski-out, but for this week we would include private minibus slope transfers to and from the lifts. Linga and Pré-la-Joux are only a few minutes from the chalet, giving access into the wider Portes du Soleil ski area.

We have chalets 200 metres from the pistes, others close to the lift station, leisure centres (& crèche) and hire shop (discounted rates). Some of them have HOT TUBS and saunas too
Vaujany is a very popular choice for groups of friends and families with young children due to its relaxed and safe environment and incredible value nursery. Vaujany is a very quaint village, with a modern lift system and brilliant facilities; swimming pool, spa, bowling alley, gym, ice skating, cinema etc
The journey from Grenoble takes 1 hour via car (taxi is €240). Lyon is 1.5 hours. Geneva is 2.5 hours. Bens Bus offers a shared transfer service, operating from Grenoble at €48.50 return and also Lyon.

Chalet Barragiste has the ultimate ski in ski out location that enables you to step out of the door, click into your skis and head off for a day’s skiing.
Chalet Barragiste is located on the edge of the luge track between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 which is a gentle blue run that take you down to Courchevel Village’s lift station. Courchevel Village offers direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the Three Valleys ski area .
Chalet Barragiste comprises 5 bedrooms spread over three levels. One bedrooms has an en-suite, the remaining bedrooms offer en-suite showers and sinks, whilst sharing three toilets. When filling the whole chalet an additional beds in a the mezzanine area is also available. There is a spacious living area and separate dining room and an outdoor hot tub on a large south facing terrace.
