| | Hi. We are two families of 5 looking for a catered holiday very close to the slopes so we can get to ski school easily, whilst not being impacted by noisy apres ski . Preferably a hot tub would be great and ideally with parking for two vans as we will probably drive out. Kids are between 5 and 12 so space to keep them entertained after skiing is key. Budget is around £1000 per person. There are 4 adults and 6 children. Ideally somewhere higher altitude to maximise the chances of skiing back to the resort/chalet even in late March. Chalet Papillon sleeps 8/10 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. It has a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area with underfloor heating and great views. There is wifi internet, boot & glove warmers, hot tub on the terrace and it is conveniently located approx 50m from the piste and village centre.
The cost for the week is £8,090. This will give you sole use of the chalet and it will include:

We are really well set up for accommodating two families like yours with a mixture of bedrooms, large living and dining spaces, table football table, TV area, big fireplace, private outdoor hot tub etc. The chalet is just 400m from the base of the pistes and lifts and we arrange heated ski lockers for you at the hire shop right at the bottom of the slopes to make things as easy as possible with no carrying heavy kit each day.

Key strength of our proposition based on your message:
LOCATION: we are located in the heart of Alpe d'Huez at 1800m altitude, 1min walk to a ski slope, in one of the highest resort of France (snow sure), very easy to access ski schools.
ENTERTAINMENT FOR KIDS: there is a home cinema in the apartment, games, and an afternoon tea specifically for them. You are in center of town and can access other kids activities by foot like the ice rink, ping pong etc...
COMFORT: we have a private sauna, a private ski locker, 4 en-suite bedrooms and a 45 feet long balcony with mountain view.
PARKING: we do not offer parking at the chalet, however there is parking available for a fee in town that is bookable in advance (we advised to do so as soon as you book), for 90€ per week per car.

Chalet Barragiste has the ultimate ski in ski out location that enables you to step out of the door, click into your skis and head off for a day’s skiing.
Chalet Barragiste is located on the edge of the luge track between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 which is a gentle blue run that take you down to Courchevel Village’s lift station. Courchevel Village offers direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the Three Valleys ski area .
Chalet Barragiste comprises 5 bedrooms spread over three levels. One bedrooms has an en-suite, the remaining bedrooms offer en-suite showers and sinks, whilst sharing three toilets. When filling the whole chalet an additional beds in a the mezzanine area is also available. There is a spacious living area and separate dining room and an outdoor hot tub on a large south facing terrace.

The La Tania bubble lift gives easy access to Courchevel 1850 or Meribel, so there's plenty to explore in the Three Valleys ski area. There are two runs down into La Tania which are amongst the pine forest so the snow is well protected until the end of the season (late April). There are good options for ski school in La Tania, if required - we can help you with recommendations.
