| I'm looking for a centrally located, resort chalet for my group of 10-12 guys, this is our 20th year trip and want it to be special and so centre location in a great resort is key.
We can flight to Geneva/Zurich or Milan. We would like a catered chalet with a hot tub/sauna.
We are looking for reasonably priced chalets.
For this trip we want to avoid Portes du Soleil this year sorry.
Would love to hear for chalets in Austria/Swiss/Italy.

| Hi Kam, you mentioned Austria/Switzerland/Italy, and I'm actually going to suggest a chalet in France — La Plagne in the Tarentaise/Paradiski area. I wouldn't normally reply outside your stated preference, but this one ticks every other box so precisely that I thought it was worth putting in front of you anyway.
For a 20th anniversary trip, it's the kind of place that makes the year stand out.
Chalet du Bois Melay is sole-occupancy, 5-star, sleeps up to 15 across 7 en-suite bedrooms.
- Central & convenient: 200m from the village centre and shops, about a 400m/10-minute walk through the pines to the Paradiski slopes (with a ski-back path most of the way), and the free resort shuttle stops 50m from the door.
- Reachable via Geneva with a transfer of around 2h30.
- Wellness: a private spa area with a 30°C heated indoor pool, sauna and gym. No jacuzzi as such, but honestly a full private pool + sauna set-up tends to go down even better with a group your size.
- The social side: open-plan living space with a fireplace, a library/piano lounge, games room (table football, pinball) and a dedicated cinema room — plenty of spaces to spread out for a group trip that's meant to be memorable.
- Catering: available either catered (half-board with delivery or with a private chef) or self-catered — whichever suits your budget and the vibe you're going for.

Bourg St Maurice is a cosy town 2hrs from Geneva that is linked up to the Les Arcs and La Plagne ski area through the Funicular, a cable train that takes skiers up to the slopes in just 7 minutes. The Funicular is just a short 5 minute drive from our chalet. We can also provide a transfer for your group on request.
Compared to staying in resort you will have a much wider range of shops, restaurants, supermarkets. And our chalet will be a lot more spacious and luxurious than anything you can find in resort for a similar price.
The property sleeps a maximum of 14 people in 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. It boasts gorgeous views of the resort and the surrounding mountains. It has all the necessary amenities for skiers like skiroom, bootroom, boot dryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, etc.
